A collection of stories for her. Stories meant to celebrate the woman behind them, her strength, her grace, and what she has gone through. Stories of heartbreak, aging, motherhood, loss, triumph, the pursuit of purpose and everything in between. Stories meant to bring you hope and inspiration.

GRACE highlights the strength, resilience, and grace of women who chose to rise above their challenges, hardships and setbacks. These stories deeply resonate because they tell how women have defied their struggles; motivated by a deep sense of empathy and a desire to help other women.

These experiences and journeys are profoundly beautiful, authentic and tap into emotions of love, pain, hope and distinguished bravery. These stories become mirrors that reflect our own dreams and struggles, and the beauty is in the shared humanity; reminding you that you are not alone on this journey.

Stories that deal with themes of love, loss, self-discovery, and resilience, showing that even in the most heartbreaking circumstances, there can be strength, growth, and hope.

Stories and Submissions we are embracing for publication include Health Related Issues, Cancer Battles, Grief and Loss, Divorce and Re-inventing Yourself, Child growing up and now you have to find yourself again; from mom to who am I now? / Finding Your Purpose, The weight of carrying it all (child is sick, job loss, business struggles), Losing Yourself in a toxic relationship/environment, Single Mom Struggles; working full-time, cook, clean, kids, exhaustion sets in / Mental health struggles, including anxiety, depression, Mother's Grief After Losing a Child, Fight Against Terminal Illness, Surviving Domestic/Emotional Abuse, Journey with Infertility, Heartbreak of Losing a Parent, Losing a a Parent to Alzheimer’s, Emotional Scars from The Past.

NO SUPERFICIAL STORIES WILL BE ACCEPTED ie. weight loss journey, body image, business tips, etc.

Select stories will be published on the website of cocolilyandco.com, shared via Instagram on @cocolilyandco.

STORY ENTRY GUIDELINES.

Cover Letter or Bio: Please send a short cover letter or a brief bio (50-100 words). This is your chance to introduce yourself and the story you would like to share.

Word Count: 2,000–5,000 words.

Copyright: Confirm with your submission that it is your own original content and not infringing any copyright. (If using a quoted extract, please state the source or provide the link).

Editing: We reserve the right to edit your submission for brevity, grammar, readability and quality. If too much editing is required, it will not be published. No final draft will be provided of the layout.

Format: Please submit your story in 12-point Times New Roman, double-spaced, with 1-inch margins. Include your name, email address, and story title in the header on every page.

Exclusivity and Rights: We request that you submit only unpublished work. You retain the copyright to your writing, but once it’s submitted to us, we reserve the right to use, reuse and refer to it including any images provided to us for publication.

Media Release: If accepted, a release form will be sent to you.

Payment/Compensation: No compensation is offered for your story.

How to Submit: Send your story as a Word document (.doc or .docx) via email to cocolilyandco (AT) gmail.com with the subject line: "GRACE Story Submission – [Title]." Include a short (3–4 sentences) cover letter and a brief bio (max 100 words).

By submitting your content or story, you give permission to publish and post online via the website/journal, social media, print and/or digital publication.
