I have put together a March calendar with holidays and fun days in addition to some social media content ideas. Save this list or use when scheduling your content or use as marketing ideas and implement them into your advertising campaigns.

1 Plan a Solo Vacation Day // If you are a travel company, showcase the best solo vacations available. If you are a hotel, put together a blog post with ideas for a solo vacation at your resort.
3 National Employee Appreciation Day // Plan something fun on this day to reward your employees for their hard work and be sure to share on Instagram.
6 National Dress Day // If you are a boutique, showcase top 5 Spring Dresses.
7 National Cereal Day // Share your favorite cereal with your audience and ask them which ones they love. You can also post or create a recipe that features cereal.
8 International Women's Day // Here you can share your journey as a female entrepreneur via a blog post and social media. If you are a brick and mortar, you can give a rose to every woman who comes into your shop. If you run an online store, you can do a free gift with purchase to celebrate #internationalwomensday
12 National Plant a Flower Day // Ask your audience what flower they are planting this year, their favorite flower to plan and share tips for planting flowers if you own a gardening business or run a flower shop.
17 St. Patrick’s Day // Create a discount on all green products in your shop. You can also give customers who wear green a special discount or giveaway for taking a photo and tagging your business.
19 Let’s Laugh Day // Share a funny quote or top 10 movies that make you laugh.
20 First Day of Spring // You can host a Sidewalk Sale complete with pastel colored balloons, chalk and flowers everywhere to grab the attention of outside traffic. You can also run a giveaway on Instagram to celebrate the first day of Spring.
20 International Day of Happiness // Post a quote about happiness and ask your audience what makes them happy.
21 National Fragrance Day // Share your favorite fragrance with your audience and if you sell aromatherapy products or candles, you can run a sweet sale.
25 Earth Hour // If you own a restaurant, you can create a sustainable menu with plant-based foods. Showcase your most environmentally friendly products if you are a shop owner. If you have a cafe, provide discounts to customers who bring their own reusable cups.
26 National Make Up Your Own Holiday Day // This one is fun because you can make up your own holiday and circle it around your brand, products of services.
29 National Mom and Pop Business Owners Day // You can create a post asking your audience to tag their favourite Mom and Pop Business in the comments. Be sure to ask them why they love this business and encourage everyone to support the small business. Community over competition!
30 National Virtual Vacation Day // Create a mood board of your ideal vacation day or a list of top products available in your shop for a virtual vacation day.
31 National Farm Workers Day // Give thanks to our local farmers because without them, we wouldn’t have our food. Showcase a local farm that you frequently visit and show them some love on social media.
