Thank you for your interest in contributing to COCOLILY Magazine — a curated lifestyle magazine crafted for women entrepreneurs, creatives, and visionaries. Our content blends sophistication with inspiration, offering readers timeless insights, personal stories, business wisdom, and lifestyle features in a visually stunning, coffee table–worthy format.

We welcome aligned contributors to submit work that resonates with our audience, uplifts the entrepreneurial journey, and reflects beauty in both thought and design.

What We Are Looking For:

We accept articles, styled shoots, events/celebrations, interviews, essays, and creative timeless content that resonate with our audience. Topics may include (but are not limited to):

→ First-person narratives (personal essays, founder stories, lessons learned)
→ Lifestyle features (travel, wellness, interiors, beauty, food and recipes)
→ Entrepreneurship & business advice (branding, leadership, finance, productivity)
→ Profiles & interviews with inspiring women entrepreneurs and creators

All content must be:

→ Inspirational, thoughtful, and relevant to modern women in business
→ Polished and original (no AI-generated or previously published content)
→ Aligned with our elevated editorial tone: elegant, authentic, sincere, and timeless


Kindly Note:

To be considered for publication, content must adhere to the following criteria:

  • Submissions to direct the audience to visit your site or try out your product will not be accepted. This falls into the category of sponsored content at which point it will need to be reviewed for a sponsored post based on our aesthetics, specs and guidelines.

  • Editorial content must be high-quality and original content.

  • We reserve the right to edit your submission for brevity, grammar, readability and quality. If too much editing is required, it will not be published.

  • Your submission must be of interest and relevance for our readers. It is our editorial decision on choosing if it should be published.

  • You accept that we reserve the right to edit and publish as we see appropriate

  • Confirm with your submission that it is your own original content and not infringing any copyright. (If using a quoted extract, please state the source or provide the link).


Please note the distinction between an editorial and a promotional post before submitting content to us.

  • An editorial is valuable content to the reader or an inspirational story.

  • A promotional post is the promotion of your product, service and business.

  • Should you submit an article that contains promotional content, we will contact you with specs for a sponsored featured. In addition, we have the right to not publish the content.

  • These guidelines are in place to ensure a high quality publication, aesthetically appealing images and unique experience for our audience including the content and images we publish.


Meeting our Editorial Standards.

At COCOLILY & CO. we have a certain aesthetic and high standard for your story/photos to be considered. A truly unique story, event or space and expertise in an article format. Photography is of utmost importance to our publication — it plays a key role in creating the elevated, coffee table–quality experience our readers expect. All submitted images must be high-resolution, professionally shot, and visually aligned with our refined, modern aesthetic.

Contributors are expected to submit a curated selection of professional photographs (minimum 1-3) with their article in order to be considered for publication.

While we prioritize original photography, high-quality stock imagery may be used in select cases — provided the images are on-brand, visually compelling, and rights-cleared. Please include photographer credits and licensing details where applicable.


Submission Guidelines.

Editorial Guidance.

→ We do not accept plagiarized or overly promotional content.
→ Write in a clear, engaging, and conversational tone.
→ Avoid jargon, cliches, and overly promotional language
→ Submit as a Word doc (.doc/.docx) or Google Doc (shareable link)
→ Use standard fonts, no elaborate formatting.

Word Count:
Typically between 800 and 1,500 words.
If it exceeds 1,500 words, we reserve the right to publish an abbreviated version.

Photography/High-Resolution Images.
✓ If providing headshots, please include at least two options.
✓ We strongly encourage high-quality, editorial-style photography with lifestyle or storytelling angles.
✓ Minimum resolution: 300 DPI 
✓ Format: JPG/PNG only
✓ No collages or watermarked images please. 

IMPORTANT.🚩
→ Please credit any/all involved in the photos, event or styled shoot, and the photographer(s).
→ In the case of images taken by a photographer, please ensure the photographer signs the Media Release Form also and send with your submission.
→ Ensure you have the rights to any images used.
→ We reserve the right to add/edit images, if required.

By Contributing, You Agree That:

  • We retain final discretion on image use and placement.

  • We reserve the right to lightly edit content for clarity, grammar, length, and layout.

  • We/Editors of COCOLILY & CO./COCOLILY Magazine retain editorial and artistic selection on which images (if any) are published. No final draft will be provided of the layout.

  • This is a volunteer-based contributor position; currently, we do not offer payment.

  • By submitting, you grant COCOLILY & CO./COCOLILY Magazine the right to publish your content/article online, digital format and in print.
