Her Story : Drizzle Honey
Drizzle was born from a desire to showcase the unique qualities of raw, unadulterated honey while empowering sustainable production in beekeeping. Brimming with nutrients and antioxidants, Drizzle is the healthiest honey you could ask for: 100% pure and powered with health-conscious superfoods.
I also wanted to create innovative, never before seen honey products and add a millennial spin to them. I browsed culinary magazines searching for words and phrases that best represented honey. I found DRIZZLE and it was meant to bee (yes, I said bee).
Years later, Drizzle is proud to set the standard for healthy honey and sustainable practices in beekeeping. We partner exclusively with Canadian beekeepers who protect bees with safe habitats to build homes, feed on pollen and nectar-rich food sources. We donate 1% of our profits to pollinator research and protection. As a Certified B Corp, our business decisions are made by assessing all aspects of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency. Drizzle is proudly female founded and run and excited to add an innovative spin to an age-old industry!
Words of Inspiration.
I feel that words of wisdom are so specific to each entrepreneur and the company they are building. I really enjoy mentoring female entrepreneurs and try to give them the best advise I can, based on where they are at in their entrepreneurial journey. However, one thing I think always holds true is that running a business takes grit and tenacity. It takes time, and a lot of hard work; if anyone tells you otherwise, they are wrong!
