Galentine's Day Ideas

Galentine's Day is coming up on February 13 and here are a few ideas to get your planning started.⁠

Brunch is always a good idea.

LADY BOSS BRUNCH.
Gather a group of your favourite lady boss friends in your area and get together for a lovely brunch. Treat yourselves to pink bubbly, mimosas, coffee and croissants. You can meet at your local brunch spot, plan a virtual brunch if you are scattered across the globe or plan something in your office or studio.

Chic Tea Party.

This is a simple but chic way of getting together with your best pals. There are a lot of boutique hotels that offer a tea party menu or you can plan one at home. Make sure you offer an assortment of teas, tea sandwiches, fresh berries, and freshly baked scones. You can also order in from your local caterer who specialize in themed tea party boxes.

Rose & Pizza Night.

This theme doesn’t require too much planning; only sending out an invite to your girlfriends! You can ask each guest to bring their favourite bottle of Rose, order several pizzas with toppings everyone will love and celebrate. Fill the night with conversations or watch a classic Audrey Hepburn movie.

Margaritas & Taco Fiesta.

A fun and delicious way to celebrate with your group of friends, female family members or lady boss friends. Get together at a local Mexican restaurant (so many amazing ones to choose from!) and order yourselves margaritas and tacos - don’t forget the churros for dessert. You can also order in if you don’t feel like going out and have fun making your own margaritas. You can also set up a build your own taco station.

Secret Galentine.

Have fun with a Secret Galentine gift celebration (think Secret Santa). Pick names out of a hat or online secret gift generator and shop away after setting a budget. You can either drop off the gift on their doorstep, secretly or have a fun get together (no rules against Christmas in February!) and let the fun gift opening begin. You can play your favourite genre of music in the background, have a charcuterie or head out to your favourite restaurant for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Yoga & Smoothies.

Plan to get together at a yoga studio and then head over to the best place in town for some delicious smoothies. You can definitely plan this event in your own studio or home and offer guests a smoothie bar on that day. If you are hosting, offer guests little swag bags filled with wellness and beauty products that you love or offer in your studio.

Champagne and Flower Making Soiree.

You can source out local floral boutiques and see if they are offering any workshops or have fun with this yourself at home. Simply find a fun tutorial on YouTube, set up a pretty champagne bar and start the party.

Wine & Paint Party.

There are so many options for local paint parties and these are perfectly planned for you. You can definitely plan something in your home, office or studio if you prefer. Your shopping list will include a selection of wines, grazing table perhaps and of course, paint by numbers art to make it fun!
