TOUGH TIMES.
It was all fabulous but unfortunately I was losing my mom that year after her battle with cancer for 7 years - and my world got turned upside down as she was my rock and best friend of 38 years.
WITH A LITTLE HELP.
It took awhile for me to surface from the grief but baby steps, one foot in front of the other, my spirit sisters (we met at the hospice for grief counseling), prayer, family, friends and my little man all got me through it.
DO WHAT YOU LOVE.
If you have a passion for something, you don't stop. You keep working away at it and constantly. I don't have the husband to support me while I do this on the side for fun nor do I have the luxury to have thousands of dollars to build this into what I want over night.
A COMMUNITY.
It's a full-time hustle, a passion and I look forward to Monday mornings because I love what I do - building a community of amazing women who will be able to connect x collaborate with like-minded female entrepreneurs, supporting each other and building each other up PLUS hand-selecting amazing local shops, services and experiences - I call them hidden gems. All of the above is coming back soon!
