Family Travel Inspiration - NYC

New York City has always been one of our favourite cities - the inspirations for fashion, food, and architecture, are simply endless. On our most recent trip to NYC for a photoshoot, we thought it would be a great experience to bring our little ones along for the ride. Despite our busy schedules, we were able to take in some of New York's fabulous hot spots and found the city had such an array of exciting activities for families.

The Meatpacking district is a favourite of ours with the trendy shops, beautiful streetscapes, and fabulous dining inspirations. From a stroll through High Line Park - the kids loved jumping the old rail tracks, to Pier 51 Playground, and dining at CowGirl - a regular hot spot for local families, this area proved to be a great locale for children

Central Park was another favourite of ours for some time in the city with kids. Renting a tandem bike from Cycle Central Park, rowboating and lunch at Loeb Boathouse, some playtime at Heckscher Playground, and completing the visit with a ride at the Central Park Carousel.

No trip to New York for a child would be complete with out picking out some candy at Dylan's Candy Bar followed by sharing a Sundae (big enough for the whole family to share!) at Serendipity.

New York will always remain a favourite of the COCOLILY Family, and it was so wonderful to see this beautiful city through the eyes of a child.
