The COCOLILY Market.

What the COCOLILY Market Is.

The COCOLILY Market is a curated editorial experience presented through COCOLILY Magazine and our digital platform. Brands are introduced through story, imagery, and context. The focus is on how your brand is presented and how it is experienced by readers.

What the COCOLILY Market Is Not.

To ensure understanding, it is important to be clear about what this is not.

Not a flash sale or discount-driven environment • Not a vendor directory or product grid • Not a performance-based guarantee of sales • Not a volume-focused advertising placement

The Market is designed for presence, positioning, and long-term brand value

Editorial Approach.

Every partner is presented through an editorial lens.
This means: • Clean, graceful layouts • A focus on brand story, work, and point of view • Select product highlights rather than full catalogues • Consistent visuals across the Market

Final editorial decisions are made by COCOLILY and Co. to maintain alignment across the Market and Magazine.

Brand Fit and Curation.

Brands are accepted based on alignment, not category quotas.
We look for: • Clear brand identity • Quality and consistency in visuals, products and/or services • A shared appreciation for presentation and storytelling. Acceptance reflects fit with the COCOLILY & CO. aesthetic, not scale, follower count, or production volume.

Image Standards.

All imagery must meet the following:

• Minimum resolution of 300 DPI
• Natural lighting preferred
• Clean backgrounds
• No text overlays or filters
• JPG or PNG format only
• No collages or watermarks
• No AI-generated images

Alternate images may be requested if needed.

Product and Feature Selection.

Product and service selections are curated by COCOLILY and Co. and may be adjusted to align with the overall direction of the publication.

Sales and Expectations.

The Market is designed for discovery. While purchases/orders/bookings may occur, this is not a sales-driven platform. We recommend:

• Avoiding promotional or discount-led language
• Ensuring links and product details are accurate
• Understanding that engagement may build over time

Promotion.

You are welcome to share your feature once the Market is live.
Suggested approach:

• Present your participation as a feature
• Use provided visuals where possible which we will provide once live
• Keep messaging aligned with your brand voice

Editorial Process.

All layouts and features are designed by our team. Drafts are not shared prior to publication.

Communication.

All communication will take place via email unless otherwise noted. We aim to be clear and respectful of your time. We ask the same in return. Questions are always welcome.

Practical Notes.

• A Market feature image will be provided once live & launched
• All shared content will include proper tagging
• Invoices are issued based on your selected package
• All required materials must be submitted by the stated deadline

A Shared Standard.

By participating, you are joining a curated editorial experience that brings together a selection of brands across each edition. We value the work you bring and your contribution to each release.

Her Story Editorial Feature Guide

Guidance for partners contributing to editorial features in COCOLILY Magazine.

All editorial features are written as magazine stories, not brand copy. Our editorial team edits and structures the final piece, and your submission provides the foundation.

Length

500 to 750 words total
This length allows room for layout, imagery, and pull quotes while supporting a natural reading flow.

Image

Headshot or lifestyle image of your product, service, or work.

What to Write About

You may respond to some or all of the following prompts:

• Why you started your business and what led to its creation
• The story behind your company name, if relevant
• What you enjoy most about your work
• Challenges you have faced and what you learned from them
• What you wish you knew when starting out
• What supports your marketing approach outside of social media
• A typical day or habits that support your work
• Advice or insight for others building a business

End your submission with three to six sentences of advice, words of inspiration for other female founders.

Please Note:
Written submissions should reflect your own voice. AI may be used as a tool; however, final text must read naturally and authentically.

Submission Format

Please submit your Her Story feature in any of the following formats:

• PDF
• Word document
• Google Docs link
• Email body submission

Please ensure your submission is clearly structured with simple paragraph breaks for readability.

You may include headings if helpful, however avoid complex layouts such as columns, text boxes, or embedded design elements, as your story will be formatted for publication by our editorial team.

All submissions will be edited and prepared for layout within COCOLILY Magazine.

Editorial Process

All submissions are edited for length and alignment with the magazine.

Final copy and layouts are not shared prior to publication.

Each feature is prepared in relation to the wider edition of COCOLILY Magazine.

Note on Editorial vs Promotion

An editorial feature shares perspective, experience, and insight.

A promotional feature focuses on selling a product or service.

This feature is editorial and intended to share your story and experience.

Editorial Notes for Contributors

• Write in a personal and reflective tone
• Focus on story and insight rather than promotion
• Avoid sales language or direct promotion of services or products
• Images may include portraits, lifestyle, or work related visuals
• Headshots are optional for those who prefer to remain behind the camera
• First names are typically used in publication for privacy preference
