December Coffee Moments.

Fueled by espresso and Christmas music.
— COCOLILY & CO.

Even amidst the busiest December days, there is beauty in this month. From the Christmas lights to the first snowfall to the festive holiday music. For women running businesses, coffee is a steadfast companion: part fuel, part pause, part reassurance.

We have chosen three coffees that capture December’s spirit — cozy, a touch indulgent, and full of festive cheer. These are the drinks that keep you company as you finish projects, enjoy a pause, or take a moment for yourself before stepping into what’s next.

Vanilla Peppermint Latte

A December classic with a soft, refreshing lift — not too sweet, just enough brightness to spark your morning.

You’ll need:

  • 1–2 shots espresso or ½ cup strong brewed coffee

  • ¾ cup milk or oat milk

  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

  • ½–1 tsp peppermint syrup

  • Crushed candy cane for topping (optional)

How to make it:

  1. Froth your milk until warm and smooth.

  2. Mix vanilla and peppermint syrup into espresso.

  3. Pour milk over coffee and stir.

  4. Add a sprinkle of crushed candy cane for extra spirit.

Perfect for business planning, wrapping gifts, or easing into a winter morning.

Gingerbread Maple Cappuccino

Warm spices, a touch of maple, and a cloud of foam — this one tastes like December feels.

You’ll need:

  • 1 shot espresso

  • ½–1 tsp maple syrup

  • ¼ tsp gingerbread spice (ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg)

  • ½ cup frothed milk

  • Pinch of cinnamon on top (optional)

How to make it:

  1. Mix espresso, maple syrup, and spice until blended.

  2. Add frothed milk over the top.

  3. Dust with cinnamon.

A cozy companion for reviewing the year, tying up loose ends, or setting intentions for what’s ahead.

Cocoa Almond Mocha

A richer option for afternoons — comforting, smooth, and just indulgent enough.

You’ll need:

  • 1 cup brewed coffee or 2 shots espresso

  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder

  • 1 tsp almond syrup

  • ½ cup milk or oat milk

  • Sweetener of choice

  • Dark chocolate shaving (optional)

How to make it:

  1. Combine cocoa and sweetener with a little hot coffee to dissolve.

  2. Add the rest of the coffee, almond syrup, and milk.

  3. Heat gently, pour into a mug, top with chocolate shaving.

Perfect for long workblocks, end-of-year brainstorming, or evenings spent unwinding.

Where to Keep Your Joy Slips.

On a desk, a bookshelf, or a bedside table.
Somewhere they can live alongside the things you already love.

Tucked into a small wooden box, a stack of envelopes, a fabric pouch, or a pretty tray.
Left out in the open or kept neatly together for later.

Some keep them in a glass jar or a simple vase.
Others scatter a few on a table or slip one into a planner or book.

There is no right place.
Just choose somewhere that feels good to reach for.

One petite note at a time.
