I created Sage & Citrus Skincare from a desire to live closer to what feels right. My approach to skincare is rooted in traditional practices and a deep respect for what we put on our bodies.
As a homeschooling mother of four boys, with one angel baby, family has always been at the heart of my life. After years of moving, returning to my hometown and building a life on a homesteading acreage brought me back to simpler ways of living and a stronger connection to what we use in our home and on our skin.
My work grew from those values. I am drawn to traditional ingredients and natural practices, creating skincare with natural, non synthetic, GMO free ingredients, pure essential oils, and real food for scent and colour. Everything is made in Saskatchewan using ingredients that are familiar and trusted.
Balancing business and family has taught me how to make the most of the time available. Some days offer thirty minutes, others a full afternoon, and having structure helps me move the business forward even in small increments.
Sage & Citrus began in 2017 with two simple products: a citrus blend I created for myself and a clary sage blend. What started with those first formulations has grown into a full line of natural skincare, built around the same values that inspired it from the beginning.
For me, the little moments still bring the most joy. Morning tea by the fire. Time in the greenhouse tending to tomatoes, something my grandmother once taught me. These moments remind me why I started and why this work remains such a natural part of my life.
